Aisha Binani won the primary election with 430 votes, her next in line is Nuhu Ribadu with 288, the third is former governor, Bindow Umar Jibrilla with 103 votes, the fourth is Abdurrazaq Namda with 94 votes, and last is, Wafari Theman with 39 votes.
